Sun, Sept 5 - E Amityville Paddle 2:00pm
3 hrs around Amityville Creek & South Oyster Bay. An exploratory paddle as I have not done this trip before.
The owner of the Dinghy Shop (on the creek) tells me with her maps we can’t get lost. It should be fun to explore this new waterway together. Warm sea water and not too hot sun at this time of year. Rentals: The Dinghy Shop, 631-264-0005. Meet there, 334 S. Bayview Ave, Amityville. Life vest/jacket must be worn at all times when in your
boat. Beverage strongly suggested. Must register with Jane at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 631-689-1568.

Sat, Sept 25 BEACH CLEAN-UP 9:00am-3:00pm Coastal Steward, Port Jefferson

Dave will provide all the necessary equipment as well as some interesting facts about the area and why it’s so important to keep it clean. You don’t have to be there the entire time. For directions and more info visit http://www.coastalsteward.com/events.html and read the item on the bottom of the page.
